Seymour Duncan, Hot Jazzmaster pickups feature Alnico 5 rod magnets and overwound coils, delivering a hot and punchy surf tone with an enhanced midrange response. You'll find that chords have a growling quality, while solos provide a midrange cut similar to that of humbuckers. Though these sounds have long been favoured by alt-rock and surf guitarists, the pickups are versatile and can achieve a range of tones—from sparkling cleans to grungy overdrive and bluesy sustain.

When paired with our RWRP neck model, these pickups operate in hum-cancelling mode when both are used together. The Hot Jazzmaster is designed as a drop-in replacement for Fender American Standard Jazzmaster-sized pickups, ensuring a perfect fit into the original cover. 

For an optimal setup, we recommend pairing the Hot Jazzmaster neck pickup with the Hot Jazzmaster bridge pickup for a powerful and balanced sound. Each pickup is constructed with hand-ground Alnico 5 rod magnets, a custom coil wind, and vintage-correct flatwork, and they are wax-potted to eliminate unwanted squeals.
