Our Quarter Pound Jazzmaster neck pickup features ¼” diameter Alnico 5 rod magnets and a custom overwound coil, providing a powerful and warm rhythm sound. This pickup is RWRP (reverse wound, reverse polarity) for hum-free operation when paired with the bridge pickup. 

The Quarter Pound Jazzmaster bridge pickup delivers a strong midrange punch, making both chords and solos stand out with rich harmonics. These pickups diverge from the traditional bright Jazzmaster sound, offering a tone reminiscent of a P90 Soapbar pickup. 

Both the neck and bridge models are drop-in replacements for Fender American Standard Jazzmaster-sized pickups and will fit perfectly into the original covers (please note that the pole pieces will not extend through the cover). 

We manufacture these pickups with ¼” diameter Alnico 5 rod magnets, a custom coil wind, and custom flatwork. Each pickup is also wax-potted to ensure squeak-free operation. Please note that covers are not included.
