The CB Tap is an external tap tempo device designed to work with our Belle Epoch Deluxe. It not only provides tap functionality to the Belle Epoch Deluxe but also connects to any device with a tap-tempo output, except for Boss pedals and other non-normally-open taps.

Included with the CB Tap is a six-inch Catalinbread-branded 1/4” TRS patch cable for connection to your chosen pedal.

To use the CB Tap with the Belle Epoch Deluxe, connect one end of the 1/4” TRS cable to the Deluxe's expression output and the other end to the CB Tap's “DLX” input. Begin tapping, and the LED indicator will synchronize with your taps.

For use with other pedals alongside the Deluxe, connect one end of the 1/4” TRS cable to the tap out of any non-Boss pedal and the other end to the CB Tap's “Tap” input. Upon tapping, note that the LED indicator will remain unlit when used with non-Deluxe pedals.

The CB Tap sets a delay time, which you can then divide into even subdivisions using the "Echo Delay" knob.

Please be aware that the CB Tap cannot set delay times outside the Belle Epoch Deluxe’s range. For instance, it cannot set a delay slower than 800ms, a limitation that only applies when used with the Belle Epoch Deluxe.
