A few years ago, ZVEX Effects introduced the Candela Vibrophase™, a candle-powered vibrato/phaser crafted from solid brass and glass. It combined 1800s technology, specifically a Sterling heat engine, with 60s/70s audio circuitry to produce a beautiful swirling effect.

Due to numerous requests, ZVEX decided to incorporate that distinct sound into a guitar pedal. After extensive research, they succeeded in significantly expanding the range of textures using the Candela's original circuitry. The result is the Vibrophase™, a five-knob, four-stage phaser that offers unprecedented phase and vibrato nuances.

The pedal features five knobs for comprehensive control: Speed, which ranges from extremely slow to rapid; vibrato/phase sweep, which you can explore; feedback, which intensifies the effect by rerouting the output through the phaser; and controls for both the high and low ends of the sweep, allowing full customization to match your music. ZVEX believes this pedal will be a delightful addition to any musician's toolkit.
