Unlike the standard Pinnacle, which uses a toggle switch for its Gain Boost, the Pinnacle Deluxe offers this feature via a footswitch, allowing you to activate it mid-performance without stooping. If you're considering using the Pinnacle for both rhythm and lead, the Deluxe might be the better choice to keep your performance seamless.

The other notable difference is the Pinnacle Deluxe's extra internal volume control, should you need that extra push beyond the maximum output.
