Toggle Switches

Wampler simplifies finding a usable compression threshold by offering a toggle between slow and fast attack, rather than an attack knob. A fast attack is ideal for crisp country tones or rapid riffing. Conversely, a slow attack yields a more organic sound. When combined with the blend knob, it preserves the dynamics of your playing and enhances it with the Ego. The blend knob introduces compression alongside your dry signal.

The second toggle serves as a tone control, offering bright or dark options to complement your guitar's pickups. For bright single-coils that need tempering, the dark setting is suitable. Conversely, if you have dark-sounding humbuckers that require a lift, the bright setting would be appropriate.
