Tech 21's Geddy Lee YYZ Signature Sansamp (YYZSH) is a tribute to the rapid sell-out of the MP40 Limited Edition Signature SansAmp. In honor of the MP40's unique "Moving Pictures" artwork, they present the Geddy Lee YYZ Shape-shifter Signature SansAmp.
This model shares the same color scheme and graphics as Geddy's other Signature SansAmps, including the GED-2112 rackmount, DI-2112 desktop, and YYZ single footswitch pedal, and offers identical features and functionality to the MP40.
The YYZ Shape-shifter SansAmp is enhanced with a selectable Boost stomp switch that delivers a 12dB presence boost for sharper top-end distortion. Activating the Shape-shifter button introduces an additional 6dB of Schmegilka, which Geddy describes as "an indefinable thing of awesomeness."
The unit can be powered by a 9V alkaline battery (not included) or an optional DC power supply, specifically the Tech 21 model #DC9, or the older models #DC2 or #DC4.

All analogue SansAmp technology enables you to record directly and enhance previously recorded tracks. For live performances, the YYZ Shape-shifter can drive a power amp and speakers, augment your existing amplifier set-up, or run directly into the mixer of a PA system.
