In 2022, the SansAmp RBI rackmount received a cosmetic refresh while retaining all its features and functionality. 

The SansAmp RBI has remained unchanged since its debut in January 2001, until now. The updated faceplate features the original 1989 logo from the SansAmp Classic and includes updated hardware for power-up.

The SansAmp RBI is an enhanced version of the well-known SansAmp Bass Driver DI pedal. It boasts an Effect Loop with a Mix 50/50 switch for parallel or series operation, an XLR output with adjustable levels, and a buffered direct XLR output for a dry signal.

Offering a range of sought-after classic and modern bass tones with the freedom to craft your own, the SansAmp RBI is essential for any bassist.

It includes a built-in speaker/cabinet simulator. The fully analog SansAmp Tube Amplifier Emulation technology covers the full signal chain, from the pre-amp to the power amp to speaker simulation. The SansAmp speaker simulation, a core component of the circuitry, is designed to complement any guitar or bass speaker cabinet setup. Additionally, you can add an external IR post-SansAmp for extra tonal variety. The SansAmp speaker simulation is crafted for a balanced response, akin to that of a multi-miked cabinet, avoiding the uneven frequency response typical of single miking and many IRs.
