The TAD 7025/12AX7 Highgrade Premium Select RT010 is a PREMIUM selected tube designed for the most demanding amplifier stages. It is ideal for achieving warm, clean tones and a creamy overdrive. This tube is recommended for the first gain stage and serves as an upgrade for 12AX7A and ECC83 tubes, while also replacing E83CC tubes. The HIGHGRADE Selection represents the pinnacle of quality, exhibiting the lowest levels of noise, including microphony, hum, and hiss. Typically, only 0.5-2% of the total production yield meets the HIGHGRADE standards.
