In the past, obtaining humbucker, P90, and Strat tones required three different guitars. However, the P-Rails humbucker now offers all three sounds in a single pickup that is a drop-in replacement for any standard-sized humbucker. The Triple Shot mounting rings, available in a flat design for super strats or an arched design for Les Pauls, feature two switches that allow you to easily select your desired voicing. There's no need to install a mini toggle or use push-pull pots to access the different tones.

Both the bridge and neck P-Rails pickups can be split to provide an authentic P90 sound or switched to the Rail coil for a Strat-like tone. With both coils active, you get a powerful humbucker tone that delivers a full sound. The neck pickup in this set is RWRP (reverse wound, reverse polarity), ensuring a hum-free experience when using a single coil in the neck position alongside one in the bridge. You can combine them in any configuration you like. The pickups are available with arched rings for use on guitars with a Les Paul-style carved top or flat rings for other guitar models.

Handcrafted in Santa Barbara, CA, the P-Rails humbuckers utilize a pair of Alnico 5-bar magnets. They come with a 4-conductor lead wire for various wiring options and are vacuum wax potted for squeal-free operation.
