Keeley recognises that not every guitarist connects with the original horse-related pedal sound. The Manis captures the essence of this legendary pedal while offering a modern twist. Using GE transistors instead of diodes enhances saturation, compression, and sustain.

The clipping switch allows you to engage cold-war era GE transistors for added sustain and a tube-like response or to remain in Diode mode for an authentic Klone sound. Adjust the Tone knob to reduce upper-mid honk, and use the bass boost switch to lower the cutoff by an octave, increasing gain for better low-end recovery.

The Manis is robust and operates at 18V for greater headroom, making it a versatile solution for clean boost and amp saturation, appealing to both Klone purists and newcomers.
