The Radial Headbone is a specialized switching device designed to alternate between two different guitar amplifier heads using a single speaker cabinet. With the Headbone, you can seamlessly switch from your Marshall head for rhythm sections to your Mesa-Boogie head for solos, which is especially beneficial for players seeking the highest quality of tone on stage or in the studio.

The Headbone boasts 100% discrete class-A circuitry for superior audio performance, a transformer-isolated guitar signal path to prevent ground loops, and the option of buffered or un-buffered inputs to fine-tune the signal path. Its internal switching mechanism includes relays, opto-couplers, and load resistors, all controlled by a digitally programmed chip. Engaging the footswitch activates the Headbone, switching the guitar signal between amps, disconnecting and reconnecting the speaker to the appropriate head, and managing the signal to a load resistor—all executed swiftly.

The Headbone also features SafeMode™, which ensures that if power is lost, the guitar input automatically shuts off. For a cleaner stage setup, the Headbone incorporates Slingshot—a remote control port that allows toggling via any standard footswitch or MIDI-controlled contact closure, thus reducing the need for lengthy speaker cables and enhancing overall system efficiency.
