The Palmer Pro PMS 02 is a dual-channel microphone splitter designed for situations where a source signal needs to be distributed to multiple inputs. For instance, it allows a microphone signal to be concurrently sent to the main mixing desk for the house sound system, the on-stage monitor mixing desk, and the outside broadcast van during a live event. This is achieved using a "1 in 3" microphone splitter. The inclusion of large audio frequency transformers ensures that the sound quality remains unaffected, while also eliminating ground loop hum. Additionally, the PMS02 is capable of converting unbalanced signals into balanced signals, and vice versa.
