The Neutrik NP2X-AU Silent Jack is a specialized version of the standard NP2X-AU, designed to reduce the "pop" or "click" noise that occurs when a jack is plugged in or unplugged from an audio device.
This "silent" feature is particularly important when you're using guitars, keyboards, or other instruments that need to be plugged in or out during a performance without disturbing the sound.
If you're looking for a smooth, professional-grade connection with no audible interference when switching, the NP2X-AU Silent Jack would be a great choice.
Key features of the NP2X-AU Silent Jack include:
Silent Switching Mechanism: This jack has a built-in silent switching system, which prevents any unwanted noise when connecting or disconnecting, making it ideal for professional musicians, sound engineers, and anyone using audio equipment where such noises are disruptive (e.g., live performances or recording environments).
Gold-Plated Contacts: Like the regular NP2X-AU, the Silent Jack also features gold-plated contacts for superior signal quality, minimizing corrosion and ensuring optimal performance over time.
Durable Construction: The NP2X-AU Silent Jack is built with robust metal housing to withstand the wear and tear of frequent plugging and unplugging while maintaining reliability.
