The CABCLONE™ serves as a passive Cabinet Simulator, Speaker+Mic alternative, complete with a built-in Amp Load. It enables a direct connection from your guitar amp's Speaker Output to a mixing console, microphone preamp, or directly to your recording converters, with or without using a speaker cabinet. Additionally, it functions as a Compensated Headphone Driver, providing a headphone-compatible rendition of your amp's tone that sounds great and feels authentic, ideal for private practice sessions or playing without an audience.
The CABCLONE, featuring an internal resistive load that can be bypassed, allows for the capture of a direct signal from an amplifier, with or without a speaker connected. It is suitable for amplifiers up to 150 watts, with a standard 8 OHM configuration. Additionally, 4 OHM and 16 OHM versions are available for proper impedance matching with MESA and non-MESA amplifiers of equal or lesser wattage. This feature enables the conversion of any amplifier into an effective "silent" tool for live performances, recordings, or practice sessions.
And last but definitely not least, we’ve included one of the best features of all on the CABCLONE... the HEADPHONES Output. This jack allows you to enjoy the sonic shaping and great feel of the CABCLONE’s DIRECT BALANCED OUT through a set of quality headphones for personal entertainment with your favorite amplifier. At last you can play through your amp (big or little) “silently” late at night when the rest of the world is asleep and still have that beautiful Tube Tone and a bouncy feel. Add some Delay and Reverb in your amp’s Loop and you’ll be lost in a world of fat, rich, expressive guitar-bliss for hours.
