The one, the JPTR FX cult classic and the figurative full-on storm in a teacup, the GAINSAW is all its name suggests and then some. Sounding like the engines of two colliding trucks, while keeping all manner of feedback at bay, it’s big open tone, massive gain reserves and bizarre low-end harmonics will, quite indisputably, blow you away!

Gut churning and unforgiving, GAINSAW delivers bright, wide and open sounding fuzz with a simple, single knob circuit. Just set it, forget it and begin your onslaught of devastating riffs!

A gated distortion at heart, the GAINSAW works perfectly with your volume pot and playing dynamics, placing its tonal range anywhere between Satisfaction by The Rolling Stones to Siamese by The Smashing Pumpkins. It is undoubtedly the loudest pedal you will ever hear, but also equally effective whisper quiet.

With its single volume knob, this allows ease of use and intuitive playing, keeping all the clarity intact despite gargantuan levels of gain. Perfect for low tunings, GAINSAW also sounds remarkable when boosted - although it is highly doubtful one would need more gain, to be honest!

Like with all things, it is the beast which is out of sight that is the most terrifying. As such, we have expanded GAINSAW with additional internal DIP-switches to further fine-tune your gain structure and base orientation, essentially turning this single pedal to four individual fuzz pedals in one housing.

Switch one activates two silicon diodes, while switch two introduces two military-grade (and over 3 decades old) germanium diodes, for a tight, tube-like sound and classic, vintage-inspired fuzz clipping. The third dip switch gives the base orientation a tight & tidy smack - familiar from the old rodent-inspired gadgets from the late 70s - by adding two pairs of LEDs to the circuit.

So, despite the single knob on the top, this diminutive device can grow with you. It may be one style of dirt pedal now, but if you want to get a different style of drive-in years to come, GAINSAW has got you covered!
