The MXR M294 Sugar Drive delivers transparent overdrive with exceptional touch sensitivity and dynamic response in a compact mini pedal design. Inspired by sought-after boutique overdrive circuits, the Sugar Drive enhances your amp’s natural tone while adding smooth grit, rich harmonics, and sustain without masking your guitar’s character.
Featuring a simple yet versatile control layout with Output, Tone, and Drive knobs, the pedal easily ranges from clean boost and edge-of-breakup tones to warm, articulate overdrive. The selectable true bypass or buffered bypass switching provides flexibility for any pedalboard setup, ensuring consistent signal integrity.
Perfect for blues, rock, country, and modern styles, the MXR Sugar Drive excels as both a standalone overdrive and a boost for pushing tube amps into responsive saturation. Its rugged MXR mini housing makes it ideal for players needing premium tone in a space-saving format.
