The Original Delay Modulation Machine

Behold the latest version of one of our most cherished pedals, the Disaster Transport. Those familiar with the pedal's illustrious past may spot some updates on this dazzlingly sparkly box. The new Mod Mode switch enables you to manipulate the modulation wave, either bending or stretching it. Additionally, the Mod Speed switch provides three modulation rates, ranging from slowly evolving climbs and sharp drop-offs to swift chorus effects and intense vibrato.

The delay line has undergone a redesign to lower the noise floor and enhance the delay's quality. It has also been filtered to more closely resemble an analog delay compared to previous iterations. Equipped with knobs for Speed, Intensity, Mix, Repeats, and Time, this analog-voiced digital delay can subtly enhance the background or be adjusted for more pronounced effects, according to your preference.

EQD initially aimed to replicate the original Disaster Transport pedal in its initial form. However, EQD's founder, Jamie Stillman, couldn't resist enhancing and refining the design. As a result, you've received an upgrade. The delay line was reengineered to lower the noise floor and enhance the delay's quality. The output has been increased with a more refined mixing section, now filtered to emulate the sound of an analog delay more closely than any prior versions.
EQD has introduced a Mod Mode switch that lets you toggle between bending and stretching the modulation wave. The Bend setting provides a more subtle effect akin to a classic chorus, whereas the Stretch setting offers extensive pitch-stretching modulation for more experimental sounds.
Another difference you might have noticed is the Mod Speed three-position toggle switch. The Slow setting moves at a glacial pace, creating oddly lively ascents and sharp descents. The Fast setting ranges from a swift chorus to a fierce vibrato, and the Medium setting offers a more conventional speed akin to the iconic Memory Man circuit, providing a substantial range.
The new enclosure design includes knobs for Speed, Intensity, Mix, Repeats, and Time, along with Modulate and Activate switches, offering a highly customizable pedal to create your ideal delay sound. The ramp modulation circuitry allows for the reduction of delay time, enabling the use of feedback and modulation at higher settings to produce a range of modulator effects from subtle to wild chorus-like sounds. Alternatively, you can set the delay time to your preference and adjust the modulation rates to establish your tempo, allowing you to sync your strumming or plucking with the ascents and descents of your riffs. The creative possibilities are limitless.
