A robust sub-octave rumble, a dynamic octave drop, a gently squared root tone, and a vibrant transformer-based octave rise all merge to transform a single guitar into a legion of retro synths.

As with any analog octave effect, adhering to certain guidelines will optimize your experience with the Bit Commander. Employ the neck pickup and articulate single notes for best results. Optimal tracking is achieved from the 7th fret upwards on all strings. Tracking is still possible below the 7th fret, but may result in sporadic glitches and stutters. Lower notes may challenge the Bit Commander's tracking ability. Utilizing Bass and the lower registers on keyboards can produce varied outcomes, some delightful and some jarring. These are characteristic of analog octaves, not defects or errors.
