Duesenberg Julia in Narvik Blue
The Julia features our innovative Duesenberg Split/King Pickup. This pickup is capable of delivering both real humbucker and real single-coil tone through a special construction, unlike any other pickup.
A pleked fretboard guarantees perfectly level frets. This is the basis for our fret polishing and setup work all done by hand that eventually makes our instruments play like nothing you have ever played before.
The innovative coil concept makes both tonal worlds, single-coil, and humbucker, available by the flick of a switch.
The Split/King Dual-Coil does not simply split a full-size humbucker to create a single coil. Instead, it starts with a real single-coil pickup and adds a certain type of coil to make it also sound like a humbucker. This is a completely new approach to creating both tonal worlds in a single pickup.
The mode of the pickup can be selected with a switch behind the tremolo. The other switch acts as a direct-out switch that routes the bridge pickup straight to the output jack, bypassing all other electrical components.
