What is the Starplayer CBR...
Retaining the aesthetics of the celebrated Starplayer design, the Starplayer CBR brings you a new and unique tonal response through a chambered Mahogany body, one-piece Maple neck and flat Maple top.
It comes with our newly designed Diamond Prestige Tremola unit featuring an elegant flat-arm design, as well as our new Flextone+ 5-Way wiring. The Starplayer CBR comes in five exclusive colours, all featuring a transparent brown back and elegant flamed Maple top.
A chambered Mahogany body, combined with a flat flamed Maple top and Maple neck, delivers a warm and powerful tone enriched with the typical Duesenberg sparkle.
Dream Team Pickups
The Starplayer CBR is fitted with the extremely versatile pickup combination of a bright Grand Vintage humbucker in the bridge position and a warm and creamy Domino P90 by the neck.
Plek Processed
A perfectly level fretboard guarantees perfectly level frets. This is the basis for our fret polishing and setup work, all done by hand, that eventually makes our instruments play like nothing you have ever played before.
Diamond Prestige Tremola & Flextone+ Wiring
Aside from the three regular pickup positions, the Flextone+ wiring offers two more in-between combinations at the flick of a switch.
Referencing the early days of Duesenberg, the brand new Diamond Prestige Tremola features an elegant flat arm design.Additionally, the new Flextone+ wiring sets you up with five unique and practical sounds from the two pickups.
PLEKED FRETBOARD
The fretboard is to your music what the handle of a brush is to a painting.
It says a lot about an instrument how much care was taken here. Every single Duesenberg instrument is expertly set up for buzz-free playability throughout the fretboard. It is then carefully finished by hand and precisely set up by one of our professional luthiers. The luthier responsible also leaves his or her signature inside the instrument.

Our creamy Domino P90 in the neck position and the classically voiced GrandVintage Humbucker at the bridge form an all-around dream team many have tried to replicate.The acclaimed middle position of the heavy-duty 3-way switch features a special wiring that filters certain low-end frequencies out of the humbucker signal. The result is an open, funky and extremely versatile addition to your palette of tone.
