The custom-made "Grand Vintage II" pickups produce warm, mellow tones that are deeply rooted in classic sounds while also providing the clarity and tonal fidelity of modern instruments. The control knob located at the cutaway horn allows you to preset a separate volume for the neck pickup, giving you a whole new range of tonal possibilities when switching pickups.
Crafted from premium mahogany with a maple top and a rosewood fretboard, the Fantom delivers the impressive tonal power you would expect from an instrument of this calibre. With deluxe 5-ply binding, reliable Duesenberg nickel hardware, "Wing" fretboard inlays, and a transparent brown finish for the neck, sides, and back (for burst models only), this instrument is designed to be a lifelong companion.
The "Fantom Series S" is made from hand-selected premium Mahogany for the Neck and Body, as well as flamed Maple for the top. The Body is finished off with a deluxe 5-ply cream and black binding.
The "Fantom Series S" is fitted with a custom-made set of "Duesenberg Grand Vintage II" pickups which deliver a pure and warm vintage tone. These premium pickups have been developed specifically for this instrument.
A Plek-processed fretboard guarantees perfectly level frets. This is the basis for our multi-step fret polishing and setup work that makes all our instruments play like nothing you have ever played before.
