Duesenberg Caribou (Black)

The Caribou is a solid body guitar with Sound Chambers, two pickups, 22 frets and a scale length of 648 mm. It is also available as a 12-string version.

The body of the Caribou is made of solid alder, which is hollow-milled generously before glueing the flat maple top. The cavities (Sound Chambers) make this constructioncross between a solid body and semi-hollow guitar, making it unique in sound character and resonance. A look inside the granted modern-looking cat-eye F-hole.

The Caribou is equipped with our proven Duesenberg pickup combination, consisting of a traditional wound Grand Vintage humbucker at the bridge and the warm creamy Domino P90 single-coil in the neck position.

In the middle position of the 3-way switch, certain deep centre frequencies from the Humbuckersignal are filtered out, resulting in a very transparent and versatile sound.
