The Danelectro Red Hot Longhorn Bass Guitar in Black/Red combines unmistakable vintage styling with modern playability and a powerful, distinctive bass tone. Inspired by the legendary 1958 Longhorn design, this striking short-scale bass features a semi-hollow construction, classic Lipstick pickups and a bold black finish with contrasting red binding.

Built with a lightweight spruce body, hardboard top and centre block, the Red Hot Longhorn delivers excellent resonance, punchy low frequencies and impressive note definition. Its distinctive double-cutaway body shape and F-hole give this instrument a unique retro appearance that stands out on stage and in the studio.

The comfortable 29.75-inch short-scale maple neck features a smooth C-shaped profile, rosewood fingerboard and 24 frets, making it ideal for bassists who prefer effortless playability and reduced finger stretches.

Equipped with two high-output, high-impedance Danelectro Lipstick pickups, the Red Hot Longhorn produces everything from warm, rounded vintage bass tones to bright, articulate sounds with plenty of attack. Master volume and tone controls, together with versatile pickup switching, make it easy to find the perfect sound.

Finished with chrome hardware, traditional bridge and an aluminium nut, the Danelectro Red Hot Longhorn is a characterful bass guitar that combines vintage charm with contemporary performance.
