It boasts knobs for Distortion, Phaser, and one of four selectable sound manglers, allowing for a range from a rich chorus to an intense noise assault. A convenient Mix control tempers the chaos, rendering it an exceptional tool for soundscaping on a pedalboard or mixing desk.

Compatible with synths, drum machines, DAWs, electric guitars, and basses, Bitters outshines the original, which lacked any mix control. Bitters is essentially a supercharged multi-effects unit, featuring separate controls for distortion and phaser, plus a third, selectable program named "Bitters," offering four effects: Decimator, Bitcrusher, Frequency Modulation, and Ring Modulation. These effects are chained, but the sequence can be inverted, placing Bitters first, for total sonic upheaval.
