The Supro Silverwood is a high-performance recreation of “Supro’s Finest Electric,” first introduced in the 1960 catalog. This updated model features select tonewoods, ergonomic contours, and premium hardware.

Offered in transparent finishes over mahogany or ash, the 2019 Silverwood has a glued-in, set-neck joint for stability and easy access to upper frets. The 24 ¾”-scale maple neck has a sleek black satin finish, a Pau Ferro fretboard, and matching binding for player comfort.

Equipped with authentic Supro Gold Foil pickups, the Silverwood delivers high-output, low-noise single-coil tone that suits rock, blues, funk, and R&B. Originally named “Clear Tone” pickups in the mid-50s, these pickups provide hi-fidelity articulation, enhancing the character of the wood and the musician's touch. The 50s-style wiring allows for volume adjustments without sacrificing top-end sparkle.
