EHX has reissued the original Version 1 Big Muff, oozing with the classic Electro-Harmonix DNA and tone. Known as the Triangle Big Muff due to the arrangement of its Volume, Sustain, and Tone controls, it marks the beginning of it all. The new Triangle Big Muff faithfully recreates the original 1969 circuit, now encased in a pedalboard-friendly, die-cast chassis.

Mike Matthews, the founder of Electro-Harmonix, states: "The Big Muff Pi is our most famous pedal, so to celebrate EHX's 50th Anniversary (1968-2018), I decided to reissue V1, the very first Big Muff. The original pedals are trading for hundreds of dollars, and this reissue perfectly captures that smooth, violin-like sustain and musical tone at a price accessible to working musicians."

The Triangle Big Muff includes modern conveniences such as an LED for effect status, true bypass switching, and the ability to be powered by a 9-volt AC adapter.
