The Celestion G12M Greenback Speaker (8 Ohms) is Celestion's pioneering guitar loudspeaker with a ceramic magnet structure. Offering nearly the same magnetic flux to the voice coil as the Alnico version, but in a more compact form, the Greenback set the stage for compatibility with higher-power amplifiers. 

Its ceramic magnet contributes distinct tonal qualities. Known for its bold and assertive presence, the Greenback delivers excellent performance when paired with an overdriven valve amplifier. 

Over time, the speaker has undergone development yet continues to produce the classic woody tone it's known for, coupled with a powerful impact.
