Jim Dunlop MXR effect pedals, also referred to as MXR Innovations, were initially produced by a company founded in 1973 by Michael Laiacona, Keith Barr, and Terry Sherwood in Rochester, New York. MXR has since become a subsidiary of Jim Dunlop.
