It boasts the La Machine Fuzz's circuitry and all its functionalities, from Volume, Tone, and Fuzz controls to the thrilling octave-up mode. Additionally, it features a classic sub-octave circuit with a dedicated level control, allowing for the perfect blend of fuzz and sub-octave tones.

To expand the Sub Machine Fuzz's robust tonal range even further, the MXR team incorporated a Series switch. This lets you channel the sub-octave signal directly into the fuzz for intense, subterranean saturation, or run it parallel to the fuzz for a layered channel effect.
