The RCA 6K6 is a highly regarded vintage NOS (New Old Stock) beam power vacuum tube, prized for its warm, smooth overdrive and rich harmonic response. Originally manufactured in the USA by RCA, the 6K6 became a popular output valve in low-watt guitar amplifiers, vintage radios and audio equipment from the 1940s and 1950s.
Known for its musical breakup and vintage American tone, the RCA 6K6 is an excellent choice for restoring classic amplifiers or bringing authentic vintage character to compatible low-power valve amp circuits.
